Banner Poles

Our 3" Banner Poles are designed to hold one or two banners and are engineered for strength, beauty and long life. Realtors and developers frequently utilize these poles as they look very professional. Aluminum banner poles are anodized and steel banner poles are galvanized, then powder coated white, black, or brown (other colours are available at an additional cost, please specify PMT colour).

The standard installation method for banner poles is as follows:
The pole is inserted into an ABS plastic tube, which will need to be set into concrete and leveled. The most common way to finish the base of the flagpole

is to use landscape rock. This configuration allows the pole to be withdrawn after the project’s termination. For additional theft protection, use a 3/8”x 4” stainless steel bolt for security.

Alternatively, the following configuration may be utilized at an additional charge:
The banner pole can be mounted on a shoe and anchor bolt assembly and covered with a spun aluminum shield. This configuration allows for easier installation & maintenance. The shield protects the shoe from weather elements and adds a professional finish to the pole (Shoe & anchor $150; shield $65).

1) Vertical banners up to 3'x 8' that use a sleeve that goes over the banner pole and not attached to a horizontal arm offer the least amount of wind resistance and can be used with a 20' & 25' x 3" x.125" aluminum banner pole.
2) Vertical banners up to 3'x 6' that have a sleeve that goes over the banner pole and a sleeve for a horizontal arm that rotates offer more resistance to wind and can be used with a 20' & 25' x 3" x.125" aluminum banner pole.
3) Vertical banners up to 2'x 4' that have a sleeve that goes over the banner pole and a sleeve for a fixed horizontal arm offer more resistance to wind and should be used with a 20' x 3" x .100" steel galvanized powder coated banner pole.
4) Vertical banners up to 2.5'x 6' that are held by top and bottom arms (stationary) offer the most resistance and should be used with an 20' x 3"x .216" steel galvanized powder coated banner pole.

The customer may elect to put larger banners on selected poles at their own risk. Flag Outlet does not offer a warranty on banner poles.

Additional Tips:
• 3"x .125" wall Steel is twice as strong as 3"x .125" wall aluminum.
• Spec: Overall length 20’, Wall .110”, 3” Outside diameter, Galvanized
• Colour White Gloss Powder Coated
• Optional: Gold or silver 6” ball made of 14 gauge anodized aluminum, additional cost $70.00.
